Its not a traditional courtship
and the timing was slightly off
Such is this unorthodox relationship
but it made us happy and tough

Against the trials that would break others
we fought through it all where it matters
and yes we argue as well time and again
but we mend ourselves as much as we can

There are even times when we are truly tested
when times arises and that we were surely tempted
but even though we faltered and at a time I failed
this didn't stop the beating of the love that we made

All of the tears from good and bad
all of the memories we cherish that I had
wouldn't happen if everything came out accordingly
so screw the norms cause we'll be as we should be

In each others arms knowing what's wrong from right
choosing when to yield and when to fight
making us stronger than the finest metal
such is our love, made so very special
